Course objectives:

In this course, you will learn how to navigate the challenges that leadership will undoubtedly bring and which will be sources of stress and/or discomfort and/or adversity. The course faculty will share how to become more resilient and how to predict when certain situations need extra care so that as much difficulty as possible can be avoided or prevented. Then, for those situations that become complex, understanding how to recognize different types of complexity will allow you to know what tactics to use and what tactics not to use.

Specifically, course faculty will cover: 

·  Maintain perspective under pressure

·  Regulate your energy and stress to fit the situation

·  Recognize when situations are more complex than they appear

·  Identify factors that increase complexity and risk

·  Apply strategies for different types of complex situations

·  Adapt your leadership response to the situation’s level of complexity

·   At the end of this course, you will be one step closer to becoming a more confident, more competent and more connected leader.

Expected time commitment: Total 7.5-8.5 hours

·  150 minutes to watch recorded presentations

·  180 minutes to review course sections and complete interactive assignments

·  180 minutes to attend two 90-minute interactive group Coaching Sessions
